Call to Order: 7:20 pm by President Mike Isko
Agenda: Presented by President Mike Is Isko
Treasurer’s Report: Full report will be submitted at a later date. CSC fee was paid.
Secretary’s Report: presented by Eva Tyburski. Accepted and seconded by members present.
Membership Report: presented by Mike Isko in Mike Brown’s absence. Stickers will be given to members upon receipt of NSC membership fee payment.
CSC Update:
Virtual Silent Auction: Flyer handed out regarding Virtual Silent Auction.
Spring Picnic at Falcon Field on 06/24/22 will feature the group Eight to the Bar.
If a Snowball is held in 2023 it will be NSC’s turn to help in the planning. They will have a meeting on 1.23.23 to determine whether it will be held. We need a representative from NSC to attend the meeting.
Kids Day will be 1.4.23.
FAM trip: A drawing will be held to choose one person to attend the Council FAM trip in Whitefish, Montana.
ON Snow: They are still working on the details of the event.
Old Business:
Paypal is now working on our website. People are beginning to sign up.
New Business:
Danbury Ski Club: we have been invited to a ski movie on 11.26.22.
Soup, Stew, and Chili Night: Proposal made and accepted to donate proceeds to CT Big Brothers/Big Sisters-CT Bigs.org. Play it Again Sports will donate ski equipment brought into the organization. Date to be determined.
Bulk Tickets: Will be available for Berkshire East and Catamount until the end of November. Tickets will specify which mountain the tickets are for. $37 weekdays, $54 weekends, $76 holidays. Berkshire East will not be open for Christmas.
Open House: Joe M and Rusty C will co-chair the Open House. Marilyn and Mike Isko are also involved. The date is to be announced.
Racing: Racing begins on December 19th.
This is the 50th Anniversary of Racing for NSC. Ron is in charge of Racing activities. Registration will be available online until noon each Monday.
The upstairs at the lodge will be open for adults.
There will be special prices for both light beers and IPAs & a Pizza Truck available. Seniors will race first this year.
Noyes Hike: will be held 11.12 at Heublein Tower.
Holiday Party: Ted Rogala is host for the Holiday Party at J. Timothy’s on January 21,2023.
