Indian Hill Country Club
Meeting called to order by President, Ted Rogala at 7:45 pm.
Secretary’s Report: no secretary’s report.
Treasurer’s Report: no treasurer’s report
Membership: no membership report.
Warren Miller Movie at the Bushnell on November 23 at 6:00 pm. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Thanksgiving/Manchester Road Race is Thursday, November 28 at 10:00 am. Rusty says tailgate will begin at 8:30 am.
Monday Night Racing early registration and pizza party will be at Mt. Southington on Monday, December 16, 2019 at 6:30 pm.
Monday Night Racings begins on Monday, January 6, 2020
Christmas/Holiday Party is Thursday, January 16, 2020 at Indian Hills Country Club.
Kids Day at Mt. Southington is Saturday, January 25, 2020. $10 preregistration fee (cash only) due by January 21. Lesson t 4:30 – 6:30 pm. Pizza will be provided after the lesson. Rental equipment is $35. Check CSC website for more details.
Club Day: Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Catamount with Danbury Ski Club. See Glenn for more details.
CSC CT Senior Games: Tuesday, February 11, 2019 at Ski Sundown. Carol says we need 40 participants for event to happen.
Soup, Stew & Chili night will be Thursday, February 20, 2019 at Indian Hill Country Club.
On-Snow: February 28 – March 1 at Waterville Valley. Check CSC website for more details.
CSC Awareness Days: Be sure to check the CSC website before heading to Ski areas to confirm awareness day prices. As it is a preliminary calendar, it may change. Also check CSC website for “special discounts and benefits”. If you are interested in ski trips, check the site for trips with other ski clubs.
OLD NEWS
Open House: was held on Friday, November 7, 2018 at Indian Hill Country Club. Thanks to the members who help set up and clean up and provided desserts. Special thanks to Lisa Day and Maryann Kelly for manning registration and CSC sticker table, and to Marilyn Pearson for organizing the event. Many shops and mountains participated and donated to our raffle. Our raffle earned $420 for the club and we signed up many new member and renewed others.
Pete Noyes Memorial Hike: was held on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at Talcott Mountain, Heublein Tower. We had 40 participants and lots of good food and beverages. Fun was held by all!!
Snowball: was held on Saturday, November 16, 2018 at The Hartford Marriott, Windsor. Special thanks to Joe for making the beautiful centerpieces Joe thanked the many people who came on Thursday night, before the event, to help with assembling the centerpieces, and special thanks to Shirley, Andrea and Jack who helped set them up on the tables on Saturday night at the Marriott. Special thanks to Mike Brown for organizing the party suite at the hotel for Saturday night and those who helped set up and clean up! Rum Runner was the band and they were fabulous! Fun was held by all.
Tonight’s 50/50 Raffle Winner: Mike Brown is the winner $7 !
